摘　　要：20世纪70年代之后,美国新左翼运动在剧烈动荡中逐渐消沉,但桑塔格通过一系列的著述,表达对波兰问题、波黑冲突、反恐战争等美国试图掌控世界的敏感问题的独立见解,不懈地传载出当代美国左翼文学阵营的声音,体现了当代西方知识分子的社会公共关怀精神。Although American New Leftist Movement as a movement became hibernated in the se- vere turbulence after 1970s, Susan Sontag did not. She sticked to her leftist position and expressed her unique views on such sensitive problems like Polish crisis, Bonsina-Herzegovina conflict, and anti-ter- rorism through a series of books, preventing the voice of American leftist writers from fading out. The never-fading voice not only indicates Sontag＇s independent political position and critical spirit on literature and society, but also embodies the spirit of social concerns of contemporary western intellec-tuals, thus being of special enlightening meaning.
