摘　　要：彼得·凯里的《"凯利帮"真史》描写了澳大利亚历史上一个"罗宾汉"式的故事。作者借助高超的艺术手法,一反传统,将主人公内德·凯利刻画成一个有情有义的民族英雄,而非残暴成性的盗贼和杀人犯,彻底颠覆了其在民族记忆中的传统形象,使文本充满传统与现代、柔情与残忍、真实与虚构的界面张力。本文从人物、情节和叙事三个角度入手,分别论述小说文本所蕴含的思想张力、情感张力和叙事张力及其形成动因,揭示界面张力生成机制所折射出的文学创作思想--重新审视殖民历史,建构新的澳大利亚文化身份。True History of the Kelly Gang is a story of Australian Robin hood by Peter Carey who thoroughly deconstructs, with his consummate writing skills, the traditional image of Ned Kel- ly in national psyche through enhancing him as a national hero full of passion and compassion rather than as an atrocious robber and murderer, thus making the interracial tension between the tradition and the modem, tenderness and cruelty, truthfulness and fictionality strongly felt. This paper, in light of characters ,plots, and narration, expounds respectively thought tension, emotion tension, and narration tension rooted in texts and its logical reasoning, revealing such literary thoughts as reconstruction of the Australian culture identity via redescription of colonial history that the generational mechanism of interfacial tension projected onto.
