简论俞正燮棉花、烟草考

摘　　要：著名学者俞正燮出于良史忧世的情怀,从他擅长的考据入手,主要通过文献佐证方法,对事关我国经济发展和社会稳定的主要经济作物如棉花、烟草(尤其是鸦片)进行了专门的考证,撰写系列文章,大多观点新颖,征引史料丰富,论证较为严密。可见,俞正燮是清朝嘉道之际学术由"考据之学"转向"经世之学"的先驱者和代表性人物之一。Proceeding from the sense of concerning over the social situations of his times as a historiog- rapher, the renowned scholar Yu Zhengxie wrote a series of papers from the perspective of textual research at which he was skillful. Via the approach of literature evidences, he did special textual research on major eco- nomic crops like cotton and tobacco （opium in particular）, which were closely related to economic development and social stability of the country. In these papers, most of his viewpoints were original, his historical materials were abundant and his arguments were rigorous. It is thus clear that Yu Zhengxie was a pioneer and representative of the academic change from ＂the study of textual research＂ to ＂the study of statecraft＂ during the reign of Jia Qing and Dao Guang in Qing dynasty.
