摘　　要：社会进步使历史学"资治"的功能淡化,而"育人"功能、"休闲"功能凸显。因此,历史教学依然固守陈旧的观念、狭窄的内容、落后的方法,势必无法适应社会的需要。历史学只有不断更新治学理念,调整研究方法,改变教学模式,才能实现自身功能,参与社会实践,永葆学术生命力。Social progress highlights the history function more on ＂education＂ and ＂relaxation＂ than on its usual ＂governance＂. The traditional history teaching method is of course an obstacle to the development of the society. To maintain the academic vitali- ty and the function of history calls for the renewal of academic concept, the adjustment of research method and the change of teaching mode.
