洋泾浜语与中国社会的历史变迁

摘　　要：语言是社会变迁的忠实见证者。中国洋泾浜语最早出现于16世纪中叶的澳门,之后随着西方列强的不断入侵蔓延到内地,它经历了澳门葡语、广州英语和上海洋泾浜语三个阶段,新中国成立和正规英语教育的普及宣告了中国泾浜语的消亡。但随着对外开放和经济全球化的发展,新的洋泾浜现象以特定的贸易用语等形式存在于当代社会。洋泾浜语和洋泾浜语现象的形成、发展和消失反映出自明末清初以来,中西经济、文化乃至政治层面的交流与冲突,折射出中国社会的历史变迁。Language is the authentic witness of the social change. Chinese pidgin first appeared in Macao in the middle of the 16th century, and then spread into the inner land with the western colonial invasion. It consists of Macao Portuguese, Canton English and Shanghai pidgin. Chinese pidgin has disappeared after the establishment of new China and formal English education, but with the development of opening and economic globalization, new pidgin atmosphere appears in modem society. Pidgin and Pidgin atmosphere reflex the exchange and confliction between the East and the West at the level of economy, culture and even politics, which shows the historical change of Chinese society.
