摘　　要：In this paper, the targets evaluating wood collapse defect was studied which included, three targets of collapse depth, collapse factors, volumetric shrinkage rate, and their measuring methods. The main point of 3 targets and the relationship of 3 targets were analyzed when collapse was evaluated. Based on the study of aspen wood collapse, collapse was classified,proceeding to show that different collapse should use different evaluating targets.
