摘　　要：本文基于钱钟书先生对"化境"的诠释,从"化"字出发,以英汉词汇、句子层级的翻译为例,进一步阐释"化境"的基本内涵,探索"化境"说现代转型研究的可行路径,旨在将其具体化、可操作化,以凸显"化境"说的实践价值。Based on Qian Zhongshu＇ s explanation of sublimation （huajing） , this paper seeks to bring out the lull implications of sublimation （huajing） by examining it in a systematic manner and showing how it can be achieved with English-Chinese translation examples, with the aim of exploring a possible approach to the modern transformation of Chinese traditional translation theory and promoting its application in translation practice as well.
