摩擦音[f]的英汉音义象似性研究

摘　　要：从发音方式上看,英汉语中的[f]音都是唇齿摩擦音。发音时,上齿轻触下唇表面母的汉字中存在着大量对应语义词群,它们在语义上模仿"上齿接触下唇表面"以及"气流从唇齿间缝隙溢出"的发音方式,从发音方式上印证了音义象似性关系。In terms of the manner of articulation, the consonant [ f] is labiodental fricative in both English and Chi- nese. To articulate this sound, one should touch the surface of lower lip with upper teeth softly, pemaitting airstream to pass through the narrow gap between upper teeth and lower lip, thus results in the friction. As far as the [ f] initialed English words and their Chinese counterparts are concerned, it shows that there are multitudes of corresponding semantic word groups in these two languages. All these corresponding semantic word groups imitate their manner of articulation with their meaning, which provides a sound proof for iconicity between sound and meaning.
