摘　　要：米歇尔·巴勒夫的专著《美国创伤小说的实质》在全面回顾了传统的创伤理论形成及发展的的基础上,提出了新的创伤理论。该书从全新的视角,成功地诠释了四部美国创伤小说,深刻阐述了当代美国创伤文学的社会现实意义。该书对读者阅读理解及欣赏美国创伤文学作品具有极其重要的指导意义。Michelle Balaev＇s book The Nature of Trauma in American Novels draws on the psychological theories of trauma and memory to examine four contemporary American novels from a new perspective. Reviewing the foundation and implementations of literary trauma theory, this book gives an reconsideration of the significance of the study of trauma in fiction. It is of great significance for readers to comprehend and appreciate the literary trauma fictions.
