摘　　要：汉明帝多元化性格的形成受到其出生时的政治环境及其父光武帝施政的重要影响,其"严切"的统治作风和个人性格对东汉后期的皇权政治无疑有较大影响,在个人性格驱使下所建立的"严切"政治,虽在当时起了某些积极作用,但从长远的观点来看,其产生的后果与影响,则主要是消极的,尤其对于整个东汉王朝、知识分子以及学术文化的摧残是不容忽视的。The formation of multiple personalities of Emperor Hanming was affected significantly by the political environment at his birth and the Emperor Guangwu＇ s administration. The ＂austere＂ ruling style and personal character have doubtless comparatively significant influence upon the royal politics in the later half of the Eastern Han dynasty. Although the ＂austere＂ politics driven by personal character played a certain positive role at that time, its consequence and influence, in the long run, are mostly negative. In particular, its destruction to the entire Eastern Han dynasty, intellectuals and academic life is not to be neglected.
