On the Formative Mechanism of Literary Styles:A View from the Development of the Cabinet Style in the Song Dynasty

摘  要:以杨亿、刘筠为代表的宋初"西昆派",是典型的台阁作家群体,无论诗歌和四六文,他们都喜从典籍中寻找写作资源,以富艳雕琢为美,充溢着"馆阁气"。后代台阁作家随着审美观念的变迁,对西昆体不断地进行繁衍和改造,并使之融入主流文学。由此可以发现,通过"研味前作"选择母体,然后进行"更迭唱和"以繁衍孵化,同时又不断地变异创新,从而保持了文学继承的多样性和持续性,是宋代文学体派林立的形成机制,也是推动文学发展和繁荣的强大动力,总体来说是积极的,应当给予肯定。The Xikun School represented by Yang Yi and Liu Yun in the early Song Dynasty was a typical group of writers formed by Cabinet members. In writing both poems and parallel proses, they liked to search resources for writing from classic works, taking elegance and elaboration as beauty, and imbuing their writings with the atmosphere of the Cabinet and the Imperial Academy. With the change of their aesthetic ideas, the writers formed by the later Cabinet members constantly developed and transformed the Xikun style, and incorporated it into the mainstream literature. We can find that they selected a parent style by carefully studying their predecessors' works, wrote to each other repeatedly to develop the style, and constantly made variations and creations, thus maintaining the diversity and sustainability of literary inheritance. This was the formative mechanism of a literary style among various schools of literature in the Sonz Dvnasty, and also the strong motive force to oromote the develooment and orosoerity of literature.
