摘　　要：Amid the bustling streets in Kashgar＇s old town, there are still old teahouses, places to relax in peace and quiet. Although Kashgar is not a tea producing area, tea drinking has long been popular here. It＇s a habit that can be traced back to the opening of the Silk Road long ago. This was a time when Eastern and Western cultures began to converge in this crossroads city, and all manner of goods were gathered and traded.
