摘　　要：寻求女性主体性是西方女性主义理论的核心议题,长久以来,女性的特征总是被父权文化贬低,西方某些文学作品中出现的女性一般被分化为天使和魔女两个极端。为寻找自身的属性的女性被描述为"疯子"形象。本文通过分析《藻海无边》中"疯女人"的形象特征,探求导致女性"疯癫"的原因,揭示女性对主体性寻求的重要性。The main subject of Western Feminism theory is female subjectivity.Given that the female characteristics have always been depreciated by the patriarchal culture for a long time,women in some works of Western literature are always divided into two extreme roles：angel and devil.Many critics describe the women who struggle to find out their own identities as ＂madness women＂.By the analysis of the image of the ＂madness woman＂ in Wide Sargasso Sea,the paper tries to find out what is the leading cause of the tragic fate of women,which also makes a necessary explanation to the search for female subjectivity.
