垂直方向上的负数空间表征:来自SNARC效应的证据

摘　　要：为研究垂直方向的负数空间表征特点,采用快速大小分类范式。要求被试对正数组(1至9)和负数组(-1至-9)分别作大于或小于5和-5的判断。实验安排了两种相反的按键反应方式:一种反应方式要求被试对大于基准刺激(正数组为5,负数组为-5)的数字按上键对小于基准刺激的数字按下键;另一种反应方式则将上下键交换。规定左手按上键右手按下键。实验结果显示,在正数组和负数组都出现了明显的SNARC效应,正数按从小到大的顺序从下往上表征在垂直心理数字线上,负数按其绝对值从小到大的顺序从下往上表征在垂直心理数字线上。上述结果进一步支持了系统进化论观点。The present experiment adopted the speeded magnitude classification paradigm to investigate the spatial representation of negative numbers in vertical orientation. Two experiments were conducted with the separately positive and negative number groups ranging from -9 to -1 or 1 to 9 as materials. The participants were asked to press the up button when the random number was larger than 5 or -5, and to press the down button when the random number was smaller than 5 or -5; in the other way they did it conversely. The left hand served the up button; the right hand served the down button. Results showed that the SNARC effect appeared in both positive and negative number groups, negative numbers were mapped onto the vertical mental number line according to their absolute numerical value： the small absolute value on the below and the large absolute value on the upward. These findings provided further supports for the phylogenetic hypothesis.
