摘　　要：《孝经》中记"夫孝,天之经也,地之义也,民之行也。"一个孝敬父母的人,一定是讲仁义道德,能以和谐的心态和行为处理各方面关系的人。孝道可使自身和谐,家庭和谐,进而达到社会和谐。人人讲孝道,能促进经济发展,"民德归厚",天下太平。Filial piety is the natural law of the nature, the earth, and human beings according to the book of The Piety Scripture. A man who is filial to his parents must he a man of virtue and morality, and must be a man who can handle all aspects of relationships with harmonious mind and behaviors. Filial piety can make your own harmonious, your family harmonious, and then the social harmonious. Everyone in society takes filial piety as their common action; they can promote the economic development, what is called ＂mores turning over to virtuous and sincere＂, and a peaceful world.
