摘　　要：儒家文化的特征是内在超越,其中包含的观念与现代理性精神既有兼容性又有矛盾。儒家要面对自身的传统作出分梳和抉择,以发挥其历史上对内在超越的批判的思想资源,作出在现代社会发展自身价值和活力的自我定位。儒家的现代言说,集中表现为他们寻找儒家在现代性当中仍具活力的价值。Confucian culture is characterized by internal transcendence, the concepts of which are compatible with yet contradic- tory to modern ration. Confucian scholars need to examine the Confucian tradition and select ideological resources, which were once used to criticize the internal transcendence, and to orient themselves to the development of self-value and vigor in modern society. Thoughts of modern Confucian discourses lie in the vigorous value displayed in their pursuits of modernity
