摘　　要：核心能力是图书馆得以生存和发展的基础。文章对图书馆核心能力的各种概念及特征进行了辨析,得出图书馆核心能力是通过对资源、技能、过程的有机协调与整合形成的独具服务竞争力的论断,并进而对图书馆核心能力的培育原则和培育途径进行了探讨。The core competence of a library is viewed as a basis on which the library can depend to exist and develop. The author of this article differentiates and analyzes all concepts and features of the competence of the li- brary and concludes that the core competence of a library means the unique academic judgments through the organ- ic coordination and integration of the resources, skills and the management process. The principles and channels of the improvement of the core competence of libraries are also discussed in the article.
