摘　　要：在中国西部大开发的形势下 ,为实现建设民族文化大省的目标 ,如何搞好文物保护和利用 ,本文从四个方面进行了论述 :提高认识 ,抓住机遇 ;统筹规划 ,保护先行 ;对尚未列入文物保护的重要历史文化遗产进行一次普查 ;This paper is intended as a discussion of how to protect and make use of cultural and historical relics for the purpose of constructing Yunnan into a major province of ethnic cultures and thus promoting the westward development campaign. The topic will be discussed from four perspectives as follows: improve our knowledge of the situation and adhere to this opportunity; on the basis of a comprehensive plan, protection takes precedence; make a general survey of the cultural and historical relics which have not been nationally preserved yet; make full use of the cultural and historical relics for the development of the material and spiritual civilizations.
