摘　　要：本文以符号学中的符号自我理论为工具，以薛忆沩的三个中篇小说《广州暴乱》、《一段被虚构掩盖的家史》和《通往天堂的最后那一段路程》作为研究对象，考察个人在历史中的身份与自我。考察发现在历史中个人的身份和自我存在着非常复杂的关系，由于种种原因，身份脱离了历史的语境，发生了巨大的转变，由各种身份累加而成的自我就与身份之间产生了强大的张力，并对历史构成了一种反讽。Based on the symbolic self theory of semiotics as the analysis tool, and ＂Riots in Guangzhou＇, ＂Family History Masked by Fiction＂, ＂The Last Journey of Heaven＂ by Xue Yiwei as the object of study, this thesis focuses on identity and self of an individual in the history. New researches have found that there is a complex relationship between an individual＇s self and the identity in the history due to numerous reasons. Identity changes tremendously when removed from its historical context, so self, made up of the accumulation of various identities, produces powerful tension which constitutes a kind of irony of history.
