摘　　要：在中国近代体育思想的形成过程中,维新派扮演了重要角色。维新派从体育教育、体育文化和女子体育三个方面深刻的认识到体育对当时中国社会所能产生的积极意义。维新运动虽然短暂并最终没能逃脱失败的命运,但维新派的体育思想在中国近代体育思想的形成过程中,起到了启蒙和奠基的作用。The reformists played an important role in propagandizing P.E.positively in modern China.They realized the significance of PE,PE culture and female sports in then China.The Reformative Movement was short and failed completely,but it has had enormous influence on Chinese society.The reformists＇ sports concepts have also played noticeable roles in the initiation and development of modern sports in China.Their thoughts shocked the whole nation,and transformed the frail social convention.
