摘　　要：美育不同于德育和智育,它不仅仅是一种"寓教于乐"的感性形式,而意在开发人类的想象能力和情感能力。就想象能力的开发而言,审美教育可以提高人类的完形能力,可以培养人类的联想能力,还可以促进人类的变形能力。所有这一切,不仅是艺术创作的基础,而且是科技发明的前提。因此,审美教育不仅有助于精神文明的发展,而且有助于物质文明的进步。Aesthetic education, quite different from moral and intellectual education, is not only an irttuitionistic form of teaching through amusement but also aimed at developing human imaginative and emotional power. When it comes to the development of imaginative power, aesthetic education can improve people＇s gestalt ability, associative ability and transformative ability. All this is not only the basis for artistic creation but also a premise for scientific invention. Therefore, aesthetic education contributes to both the development of mental civilization and the progress of material civilization as well.
