摘　　要：根据主题侧重点不同,社会主义核心价值体系研究可分为三个阶段:初始阶段主题是"为什么",发展阶段主题是"是什么",深入阶段主题是"怎么样",整个研究呈现步步深入趋势。纵观研究现状,由于存在理论上的不深入性和实践上的难以操作性,使得研究存在诸多困境。突破的可能方向是:"为什么"是个统率性问题,宜从生存论视角切入;"是什么"表现为对中华民族要过上什么样生活的追问,共同理想回答了这个问题并自行构建了一个严谨体系,但如何理解其内涵及回应所出现的挑战性问题成为急迫课题;"怎么样"建设具有"本与技"的两个维度,亟须解决的是"本"维度的问题。According to the focus of research, the studies of socialist core value system can be divided into three stages. The theme of research is ＂why＂ in the primary stage, ＂what＂ in the stage of developing, and ＂how＂ in the stage of deepening. At present, not a few puzzledoms exist due to insufficient theoretical depth and inade- quate practical operability. The possible directions for future breakthroughs are as follows： being an issue to be studied with overall considerations, the question ＂why＂ should be answered from the perspective of survival the- ory;as the question ＂what＂ relates to the ideal life of the Chinese nation, the common ideal has answered this question and formed a precise system itself, but it is an urgent issue to correctly understand its connotation and respond to the challenges;the question ＂how＂ has two dimensions： foundation and skills, and the former is ur- gent to be solved.
