新历史主义的立场和“作为老百姓的写作”——莫言荣获诺贝尔文学奖的深层原因探析

摘　　要：莫言荣获2012年度诺贝尔文学奖后,国内外舆论褒贬参半。一方面有人认为莫言获奖能推动中西文学交流,对促进中国与世界文化的对话大有裨益;另一方面却是中西方媒体和个人对莫言的贬损。但是,即使那些赞美之辞也并未真正言明莫言获奖的深层原因,无法确立莫言创作的独特性。作为当代中国难得的一位有思想的小说家,莫言创作的独特价值体现在始终如一的新历史主义立场和"作为老百姓的写作"。There have been as many blames as praises from media at home and abroad ever since Mr. Mo Yan won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2012. Some people hold that the Prize given to him is greatly beneficial to literary exchanges and cultural dialogues between China and the West on the one hand, whereas the media both at home and abroad are of a derogatory opinion of him on the other. However, even those praises on him have failed to truly understand the underlying cause for him to have won the Prize, and have failed to deter- mine the uniqueness of his fiction. As a matter as fact, the unique value of the fiction of Mo Yan, as a thoughtful novelist uncommon in contemporary China, lies in his consistent standpoint of New Historicism and his ＂writing for the common people＂.
