摘　　要：地方高校公共选修课程教学质量比较低下,教学改革势在必行。华北水利水电学院对公共选修课采取一系列措施,取得了良好的成效。这包括:加强课程体系建设;加大师资培训力度;推动以学生为中心的公共选修课教学模式创新;规范公共选修课程管理。The teaching quality of public elective courses in Local Colleges is low, and the teaching reform is imperative. North Chi- na University of Water Resources and Electric Power adopted se- ries of measures on public elective courses, and achieved good results. This includes： to strengthen the construction of curricu- lum system; more teacher training; to promote the innovation of public elective course teaching mode of taking students as the center; the norms of public elective course management
