摘  要:多年来受交际法教学流派的影响,外语语法教学没有得到足够的重视,很多学生对语法不够敏感,造成对较为复杂的英语句子的语法层次分析不到位,对文章的理解出现偏差。作者对语法教学在外语教学中的作用与地位、语法教学的目标与方法、语法—翻译法教学的重要性等做了分析,以求对外语教学有启示作用。The grammar teaching of foreign language has not been taken seriously for many years because of being influenced by the school of communicative approach. Many students can not un- derstand the passage correctly because they are not sensitive to grammar and have difficulty in analyzing complicaled sentences. The author t^ere analyses the position and effect of grammar teaching, the goal and methods of it and the importance of gram- mar & translation. We expect that our foreign language teaching at present will draw inspiration from it.
