摘　　要：双关语是一种被广泛传播的修辞手法。双关语由双关语境、触机和铰链三个要素构成。使用双关语可以让语言生动、幽默、有美感,获得特别的效果,使沟通更自然,也可以用于达到某些特定的目的。英语双关语在广告,文学,媒体和语言学习等各领域广泛运用。Pun is a rhelorical method which has been widely spread. Punning can nol only make language more vivid, humorous, but also make more natural communication wilh special effects or achieve special goals. In advertisement, literature, media, lan- guage learning and other fields, pun has been applied widely.
