摘　　要：英国的牛津大学拉斯金学院历史悠久,在成人教育发展过程中有着举足轻重的作用。拉斯金学院的办学目的、学院的布局结构、师资和经费、教学方法等都具有自己鲜明的特色。其中拉斯金学院针对弱势群体的妇女教育、工人阶级的教育尤为突出,在当时颇具影响。本文在介绍其成人教育的同时,提出了对当今我国成人教育发展的启示。Ruskin College enjoys a long history and has a pivotal role in the development of a- dult education process. The purposes, the layout and structure of the College, faculty and funding, and teaching methods have its own distinct characteristics. The education for vulnerable groups of women and the working class is especially influential at the time. To the development of adult educa- tion in China today, Ruskin College also has a certain revelation.
