摘　　要：用系统功能语法的理论对欧.亨利的短篇小说《最后一片叶子》进行语篇分析,通过对语篇中的及物性结构及语气系统的量化分析,指出它们与语篇意义和主题的内在联系,从而加深对该语篇的理解。This paper is a text analysis of O＇ Henry＇ s Last Leaf from the perspective of Systemic Functional Grammar. Through the quantitative analysis of transitivity structure and mood system in the text, it finds their intrinsic link with discourse meaning and themes, and so as to enhance the understanding of the text.
