摘　　要：高等教育评估是确保高等教育健康发展的一个重要因素。通过分析国际高等教育评估体系、评估方案、评估主体、评估机制、评估形式、评估内容等方面的发展趋势,总结高等教育评估的先进经验;并针对我国从高等教育大国走向高等教育强国的需求及人才培养的多样化背景,立足提升我国高等教育评估水平,从评估主体、评估标准、评估制度等方面提出建设性意见。Higher education assessment has become one of the most important factors in ensuring the healthy development of higher education. We analyse the international development trend of the sys- tems, the schemes, the principal bodies, the mechanism, the forms, and the contents of higher education assessment with a summarization of the advanced experiences. Considing the diversified demands and talents cultivation modes in the development of China from a big country to a powerful country in higher education, we try to construct a college self-assessment based higher education assessment mode to boost the assessment level of the Chinese higher education. Constructive suggestions on the proper operation mechanism of the constructed assessment mode are advanced.
