摘　　要：WIC项目是美国食品补助项目的重要组成部分,它面向的是低收入家庭中的妇女、婴儿和5岁以下幼儿,主要为这一群体提供膳食补助、营养教育和卫生保健等服务。WIC项目的形成经历了一个较长的发展过程,到目前已经形成了一个联邦宏观调控、地方自主管理的行政体系,且体现了立法保障、服务范围广、服务内容丰富等特点。借鉴美国这一经验,我国政府应关注弱势家庭儿童的营养保健,在发挥政府主导作用的同时注意整合民间力量,倡导并树立"以提供食物为中心、营养教育为辅"的服务理念。WIC project is an important part of the project of the American food subsidies. It provided low-income people with meals, nutrition education and health care services. During a long period of development, this project has formed a perfect administrative system which is controlled by the federal government. At the same time, the local government has the decision-making power. It reflects features such as the legal protection, various services and a wide scope of service.
