摘　　要：欧内斯特.海明威的《杀手》是一篇颇具戏剧性的作品,营造了独特的戏剧场景和强烈的戏剧悬念。海明威创造戏剧效果的旨归是借主题关注来表现其对人类未来的忧思。海明威创造戏剧场景的手法,产生戏剧场景的策略以及场景对主题关注的影响等问题值得探讨。Ernest Hemingway＇ s The Killer is a highly dramatic piece of writing in which he creates a dramatic setting and bestows it with great suspension. The purpose of the creation of such a dramatic effect is, for Hemingway, to show his concern for the future of human beings by virtue of thematic concerns. In the following paper, the writer explores Hemingway＇ s dramatic settings, his the strategies of bringing out dramatic suspensions and the relation between the dramatic impacts and his thematic eoneems.
