摘　　要：中共十八大报告指出:"道路关乎党的命脉,关乎国家前途、民族命运、人民幸福。"道路,对一个国家的发展是如此重要,对一所高等学校的发展同样重要。作为本科院校,泰山学院面临大大小小各类建设,任务繁重。这其中,学科建设就起到了龙头引领作用。因此,要充分认识学科建设对本科院校发展的重要性,发挥其配置资源、凝练方向、形成特色、提高层次的功能,使其成为源头活水,从而促进学校快速健康发展。The 18th CPC National Congress says ＂The lifeline road is crucial to the Party, to the national future, to the national fate and to the well - being of the people. ＂ Important as road to a country, it is important to a university as well. Being one of the universities, Tai Shan University is facing various kinds of heavy constructions, among which discipline construction is playing a leading role. Accordingly, it is necessary to completely realize the importance of discipline construction to fulfill its functions in adjusting resources, condensing directions, formulating particularities, and improving standards so as to boost the exuberant development of Tai Shan University.
