无条件的等级,有条件的和谐——谈美国种族电影与胡克斯的文化批评观

摘　　要：在关于种族的表征政治中,权力与知识互相支持,黑人-猩猩这个种族主义比喻由最初的人类学假设变成了常识。美国种族片中的形象生产继续巩固了对黑性的刻板定见,等级是无条件的,和谐是有条件的,甚至有黑人形象被用来遮蔽历史,转移视线。贝尔.胡克斯在这样的话语背景下提出的"对抗性凝视"策略是一种对压迫性意识形态机器的抵抗行为。Through the reciprocal support of power and knowledge in the politics of race representation,the Negro-Ape metaphor transforms from an anthropological hypothesis into a common sense.American race film continues to produce stereotypical images of blackness,in which hierarchy is unconditional and harmony is conditional.Some black images are even appropriated as a historical camouflage.Bell Hooks' promotion of the 'oppositional gaze' strategy in this discourse context is a resistance against the oppressive ideological apparatus.
