摘　　要：根雕人物创作是根雕艺术中的一个门类分支,主要包括选材、构思、作稿、制作等几个程序,每个程序都有一定的要求与窍门。从事根雕人物创作,既要心灵手巧,又要有足够的耐心与定力,还要能随时总结经验,推陈出新。只有严格遵照根雕艺术创作的理念与技巧,才能到达中国传统艺术创作中忘形取意、舍表求神的主旨意蕴。The creation of root carving figures is a branch of root carving art, it includes several programs of select- ing materials, design, draft and making, each program has certain requirements and tricks. The creation of root carving figures not only requires ingenuity, but also has enough patience and composure to sum up the experi- ence at any time and bring forth the new through the old. Only according with the concepts and techniques of root carving art creation strictly can achieve the professional state in the traditional Chinese artistic creation.
