重释主观性——语言主观性泛化的出路

摘　　要：对主观性在当前认知语言学中的泛化倾向进行了反思,指出其泛化根源在于当代意义观对主体维度矫枉过正和认知语言学对客观主义的不彻底清算。从语言本身所呈现的主客观悖反性出发,力求为主观性寻求更为合理的定位。走出当前主观性研究困境的出路在于重新确立主观性的参照标准,并对其内涵加以合理限定。对主观性进行了重释,将其列为一种介乎所言与所含之间的第三种意义,是说话者通过对既有语言成分加以剪裁拼接,在字里行间营造出的某种感觉、氛围或评价色彩。This paper is a reflection on the rampancy of subjectivity in current cognitive linguistics. It is argued that its rampancy can be attributed to the overcompensating focus on the subjective dimension in contemporary meaning study, and the remnant of objectivism in cognitive linguistics, which purports to repudiate it. In the light of the subjective-objective paradox inherent in language, a more rational orientation of subjectivity can be expected. It is held that the way out of the dilemma in subjectivity study lies in reestablishing the criterion for and imposing a proper restriction on subjectivity. On this basis, this paper proposes a reconstrual of subjectivity, regarding it as a third type of meaning caught between what is said and what is implicated, some kind of feeling, atmosphere or evaluative import conveyed ＂between the lines＂ on the part of the speaker, by way of tailoring and piecing together existing linguistic elements （which embody propositional content）.
