摘　　要：民主是人类政治生活的理想状态。同一性是民主的价值内涵,是"民主"之为"民主"的标志;多样性是民主的实现形式,是"民主"具体的、实际的存在。多样性是同一性的表现形式,同一性是多样性的内在支撑,同一指导、多样并存,二者有机统一。Democracy is an ideal political status of human society,which has become a common pursuit all over the world.Identity of democracy,at first,is the basic principle,including people＇s sovereignty,representative system,power balance,rule by law.Furthermore,it is the value orientation,such as human rights,equality and justice.Diversity of democracy is the mode of existence and its number may be as much as the number of states.The diversity is the expression of identity and the identity is the support of diversity,which contact each other closely and permanently.
