摘 要:目的:口腔鳞癌中的侧群细胞(side population,SP)具有干细胞样生物学特性,且有一些特定的细胞表面标志物表达,本研究旨在探讨SP细胞相关分子在口腔鳞癌中的表达及临床意义。方法:将101例口腔鳞状细胞癌和10例正常口腔上皮制备成组织芯片。利用免疫组化方法检测SP相关分子CD44、CK19、ABCG2和MDR1的表达,对染色结果的阳性率和阳性强度进行评分,采用SPSS15.0软件包分析其表达水平与临床病理参数的关系。结果:CD44、CK19、ABCG2和MDR1在大部分口腔鳞癌组织中表达升高。CK19表达升高与口腔鳞癌病理分级显著相关。ABCG2表达升高与口腔鳞癌TNM分期、病理分级和肿瘤体积相关。MDR1表达升高与口腔鳞癌病理分级密切相关。结论:SP相关分子CD44、CK19、ABCG2和MDR1表达与口腔鳞癌的临床关系密切。PURPOSE: To investigate the clinical significance of SP-associated molecules in oral squamous cell carcinoma. METHODS: Archival specimens of 101 cases of oral squamous cell carcinoma and 10 cases of normal oral mucosa were recruited and tissue array was constructed. The expression of CD44, CKI9, ABCG2 and MDR1 was examined with immunohistochemical staining. Both staining percentage and staining intensity were scored, and the relationship with clinical parameters was analyzed using SPSS15.0 software package. RESULTS: CD44, CK19, ABCG2 and MDR1 were expressed in majority of oral squamous cell carcinoma. Increased expression of CK19 was associated with poor pathologic differentiation. Increased expression of ABCG2 was associated with advanced TNM stage, poor pathologic differentiation and larger tumor size. Increased expression of MDR1 was associated with poor pathologic differentiation. CONCLUSIONS: SP- associated molecules CD44, CK19, ABCG2 and MDR1 are closed related with clinical parameters of oral squamous cell carcinoma.
