基于历史传记语篇中评价用语的人际功能分析

摘　　要：针对J.R.Martin提出的评价理论进行分析,它是功能语言学在语篇人际意义研究中发展起来的新型理论,对语篇中表态资源和语篇姿态研究有所突破。以评价系统理论为框架,借助UAM Corpus Tool软件对历史传记中评价用语进行定量分析,结果发现:历史传记中判断性用语比例较大,表明其劝说功能强大,而介入的主体间定位功能和级差的分级功能起到了与读者进行客观协商的作用。Appraisal Theory, put forward by J. R. Martin,is a newly developed framework for studying in- terpersonal meaning on the basis of functional grammar, and it is a breakthrough to the research of attitu- dinal resources and discourse stance. It employs UAM Corpus Tool in this paper to conduct quantitative a- nalysis for appraisal language in biographical discourse of history. The results show that judgment is adopt- ed to act as the persuasive function ,while engagement and graduation have the function to negotiate with readers through fixing position of main part and grading the meaning respectively.
