摘　　要：分析主位是研究语篇重要的切入点,对主位类型进行分析讨论有助于更好地了解语篇的篇章组织结构和作者的创造思路。优秀的演讲语篇结构构思精妙,富有强大的感染力,是研究语篇很好的选择。拟以林肯的葛底斯堡演说为研究语料,运用系统功能语言学派韩礼德关于主位结构的有关理论,深入研究演说各个小句的主位类型。结果发现,林肯在葛底斯堡演说中使用了多种多样的单项主位和复项主位,从而很好地丰富了该文的结构层次。建议广大英语爱好者今后在研究篇章的时候,注重小句主位类型的分析,这样能够对传统的句子语法分析进行很好的补充。Theme Type Analysis, a basic entry point for discourse research, is committed to the realization of better understanding of discourse structure and author＇s train of thoughts. Classical speech texts, with which ingenious structure level, are good choices for studying discourse structure. Based on Halliday＇s the- matic structure theory in system-functional linguistics, this paper examines different theme types of clauses in Lincoln＇s Gettysburg Address to illustrate how diversified clause structures can be possibly realized via a combination of simple themes and multiple themes. It is therefore recommended that English learners should focus on clauses＇ analysis of theme types in the process of discourse research,which can be a good complement for traditional grammatical analysis.
