摘　　要：近年来湖南地方文化研究中出现了"舜文化是中华民族道德文化之源"之说,这一说法注重强调舜帝与道德的密切关系,有可取之处,但它不够准确,易生误解,因此,这一说法需要重新加以审核。此说在文献学上与《史记》文意不符,在上古文明史上与三皇五帝的整体发展状况不符,因而也限制了人们对于"道德"概念古今含义的理解。In Hunan culture study,there is the argument ＂Shun culture is the source of Chinese morality＂ ,which stresses the close relationship between Emperor Shun and morality and thus has some merits.However,this argument is not accurate and will lead to misunderstanding.Therefore,we should reexamine this argument.This argument is not in accordance with Records of the Historian and the development of Three August and Five Emperors and thus restricts people’s understanding of the concept ＂morality＂ .
