摘　　要：文章运用结构主义文论,从二元对立的角度解读凯特.肖邦的《一小时的故事》。通过对文本中出现的5组二元对立项的分析,解读人物内心矛盾复杂的状态,探讨了作品的深层涵义。This paper uses the literary theory of structuralism to interpret Kate Chopin＇s short story ＂The Story of an Hour＂ from the perspective of binary oppositions. By analyzing five sets of binary oppositions in the text, this paper discusses complicated and contradictory thoughts of the heroine; and explores the deep meaning of it.
