摘  要:目的:通过观察大鼠进食含高果糖玉米糖浆(high fructose corn syrups,HFCS)饲料后牙齿的患龋情况,评价HFCS的致龋性。方法:选择适龄SPF级远交群大鼠(Spraque-Dawley,SD)30只,抑制口腔固有菌群后接种变异链球菌UA159,并随机分为3组,分别用不含糖饲料、含蔗糖饲料和含HFCS饲料喂养3个月。3个月后截取上下颌骨,体视显微镜观察磨牙颊舌面龋损;制作磨牙纵磨片,荧光染色后用荧光显微镜观察牙合面和邻面龋损情况,并根据Keyes评分法评价龋损程度。结果:3组大鼠的患龋率均为100%。HFCS组与蔗糖组的龋损程度无统计学差异(P>0.05);蔗糖组各牙面的龋齿记分均显著高于不含糖饲料组(P<0.05);HFCS组中,窝沟龋全层、平滑面龋釉质和牙本质外层1/4的龋齿记分均明显高于不含糖饲料组(P<0.05),而平滑面龋损深度超过牙本质厚度1/4的龋齿记分与不含糖饲料组比较无统计学差异(P>0.05)。结论:含HFCS的饮食能导致SD大鼠发生龋病,其龋损程度与蔗糖相近。AIM: To evaluate the cariogenicity of high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). METHODS:30 SPF Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats inoculated orally with Streptococcus mutans UA159 were randomly divided into 3 groups and were respectively provided with non-sugar, sucrose-containing and HFCS-containing diets. After 3 months, the Jaw bones were removed. A binocular microscope was used to examine the teeth for buccal and lingual caries. Grinding sec- tions were then prepared, stained with Rhodamine B, and examined for proximal and fissure caries by fluorescence mi- croscope. The caries lesions were assessed by Keyes method. RESULTS: The prevalence of dental caries was 100% in all 3 groups . Keyes caries scores in sucrose group were similar to those in HFCS group( P 〉 0.05 ) and significantly higher than in non-sugar group( P 〈 0.05 ). While no significant difference was observed in the levels of lesions exten- ding into the inner 3/4 of dentine on smooth surfaces between HFCS group and non-sugar group( P 〉 0.05 ), the le- sions on occlusal and smooth surfaces in HFCS group were significantly more severe than those in non-sugar group( P 〉 0.05). CONCLUSION : In SD rats HFCS containing diet may induce dental caries similar to sucrose.
