摘　　要：西南联合大学英才辈出,关键在于它在办学过程中坚持校长民主治校、教师严谨治学、职员高效治事、学生刻苦求学、推行通才教育,从而形成积极上进的校风、教风和学风。西南联合大学办学理念与模式对我国当代高校建设一流大学有着重要启示。The Southwest Associated University educated generations of talents and its success relied on its positive morals of running the university, the teaching and leaning style which were based on the principles of the democratic management of the university president, the rigorous academic study of teaching stuff, the highly effective service by logistic personnel, the diligent study of students and the liberal education. The philosophy and the mode of running the university offer a significant revelation to the construction of China＇ s first class universities.
