摘  要:教学实践证明合作学习和对比阅读教学法是《英文报刊选读》课上的行之有效的教学策略,分析了英文报刊选读课开设意义及现状,以及合作学习和对比阅读法应用于《英文报刊选读》课的教学实践效果:能迅速解决词汇障碍、能提高学生的英语语言感悟力、能培养学生辩证思维能力、能加强学生英语语言横向技能,旨在使学生能够从这门课中获得更大的收获。Cooperative Learning (CL) and Comparative Reading(CR) are proved to be effective teaching approaches in English Newspaper Reading in teaching practice. This paper discusses their background and the effects of CL and CR applied in English Newspaper Reading. The re- sult reveals that the vocabulary obstacle of students is supposed to be quickly cleared away, with achievements in the improvement in their ability of English feeling and understanding, and the cultivation in their dialectical thinking ability and simultaneously the enhancement in other English parallel skills of students. Thus students can achieve more from this course.
