摘　　要：对天津历史风貌建筑铭牌英译混乱现象进行分析并试改译,进而强调基于平行文本仿写理念进行外译并呼吁多个城市或地区联合共建历史风貌建筑翻译语料库。"名不正则言不顺,言不顺铭正也难",历史风貌建筑铭牌等专业英文标识语的规范化运用和管理是一项长期而艰巨的任务。This paper makes a detailed analysis on the English translation of nameplates of historic and stylistic build- ing in Tianjin, and also makes adaptation to some of the nameplates translation. It also calls for translating the name- plates by using text imitation concept, and constructing nameplate translation databases by combining many cities or areas. It is a great challenge to standardize and to manage the English translation of nameplates of historic and sty- listic building.
