摘　　要：兰州市作为典型的西部河谷型城市,其交通拥堵状况与其他城市相比有共性也有其特殊性,同其他城市相比的治理方式也不相同。通过对兰州市交通现状的研究,分析造成交通拥堵的原因、现有的治理措施及其成效,并结合兰州市交通现状及发达地区成功经验,提出缓解交通拥堵的对策,为河谷型城市解决交通拥堵问题提供借鉴。Lanzhou is a typically westen valley-basin city. There are similarities and differences of urban traffic congestion between Lanzhou and other cities, and the preventions are not the same. Based on research of Lanzhou＇s current traffic status the causes of the traffic congestion are analyzed, the present preventions and achivements are provided. Combining the situation of this city with the experienced cities, the preventions are given, which can be covered in the other valley-basin citives.
