摘　　要：随着经济全球化进程及中国经济的快速发展,社会对复合型人才的需求剧增,重在培养特殊用途英语的ESP课程受到重视。文章以5W1H六要素为切入点,从课程目的、课程内容、课程开设时间、课程师资队伍建设及课程教学方法等几个方面来解析ESP课程情况。With the globalization of economy and the rapid development of China＇s economy, the need for interdisciplinary talents is increasing rapidly and importance is attached to the ESP courses that stress the use of English for specific purposes. By answering questions of why, what, how, who and when, the author analyzes the key factors for the ESP course construction including purpose of the course,teaching content,faculty construction,teaching method, proper time for the course and textbook development.
