摘　　要：分析了东风4D型客运机车牵引齿轮箱出现焊缝裂、通气器堵塞等问题的原因 ,针对出现的问题采取了减轻齿轮箱重量、改变通气器的结构等相应的改进措施 ,提高了齿轮箱的可靠性和使用寿命。The reasons of welding seam cracking, breather being choked and so on for traction gearbox of DF 4D passenger locomotive were analyzed. Based on emerging problems the responding improvement measures such as reducing weight of gearbox and changing structure of breather were taken. The reliability and service life of gearbox were increased.
