国家开放大学英语专业教学改革的探索

摘　　要：国家开放大学英语专业教学改革研究是"远程开放教育辍学研究"课题的成果之一。在英语专业辍学研究中,深入探讨了影响辍学因素之一的英语专业教学问题,并涉及到专业设置、课程资源、教学模式和支持服务等方面。针对四方面教学问题的成因,提出专业设置需掌握英语专业"复合性"学科特征,明确职业化的专业定位,增强实用性和应用性的教学内容,构建模块式课程体系;课程资源建设需集学习资源、学习活动、课程评价和支持服务等为一体的网络课程;开展个别化教学、面授教学和学习过程评价等多种模式探索;加强支持服务团队建设,以提供基于网络的一对一支持服务和全程支持服务等相应英语专业教学改革的思路、内容及建议。The study is one of the results of＂the research of dropout on open distance education＂.The teaching of English major as one of the factors is discussed deeply in the research of dropout,which relates to the problems in four aspects of specialty provision,curriculum resources,teaching mode and support services.Aiming at the causes of the problems,the paper proposes some ideas and suggestions on the reform of teaching：the specialty setting needs to master the characteristics of＂comprehensive＂subject of English major,define the professional orientation and enrich the practicability and applicability of the teaching content;establish module system of courses;the construction of curriculum resources requires integrated network courses with learning resources and activity,curriculum evaluation and support services;carrying out individualized instruction,face to face teaching and learning process evaluation to explore a variety of modes of teaching;strengthening the construction of support services team,in order to provide one-to-one and whole course support services based on the Internet.
