摘　　要：现代性文学关注主体在现代场景下的自我建构体验,探讨主体如何在征服性文明秩序的质询和真实界的逼问下,对生存意义进行自我救赎。主体的自我建构,也就是主体被撕裂于征服性的文明秩序和真实界的原初自我之间。个体融入社会文化秩序完成主体化的过程,首先意味着他被征服性文明秩序质询,沦为符号秩序的俘虏。意识形态为主体的自我建构编制欲望客体的幻象,从而把主体缝合到意识形态网络中。主体建构的结果就是主体远离真实界的本真自我,被符号秩序建构成一个社会化的我。而真实界对原初自我的坚持和对人生意义的叩问,使人拒绝征服性文明的质询、完成独特的人生建构成为可能。但在真实的社会场景中,穿透符号秩序的主体只能作为一种残余而苟活着。人生就是人与大他者永无了结的纠结过程。人最终无法彻底摆脱文明的枷锁,因为人创造了这个枷锁。Modem literature is concerned with the intense experience of subjectivity construction in the context of modem civilization, hereby exploring how the subject redeems his existence under the double pressure of subjugating civilization and the perseverent Real. The subject＇ s self-construction means that he is split between the subjugating social order and his original innocence in the Real. The process in which an individual finds himself assimilated by social order and accomplishes his subjectivity, im- plies in the first place that he has himself submitted before the subjugating social mechanism, and falls a victim to that universal symbolic order. Ideology fabricates for the subject in self-construction unreal images as the object of desire, thereby knitting him into ideological network. What becomes of the subject＇ s self-construction process is that the subject finds himself socialized, and alienated from his true self. The persistent call of the Real, however, makes it possible for people to reject the assimilation of the subjugating civilization, and accomplish his unique life self-fulfilment. Nevertheless, in real social circumstances, the resistant subject can only narrowly survive as remaining fragmentations. Life is a constant struggle between man and Other. And man cannot escape the shatters of modem civilization for he creates it himself.
